📢 Support is now in GitHub Discussions!

As we announced last week, our official customer support hub has moved to GitHub Discussions

  • Telegram is still open for casual community chat, networking, and quick updates.
  • For a quick intro to using Discussions in the GitHub app, watch this video:

Release builds are now official

On the About Code on the Go page (located in Preferences), release builds are now marked as “official.”

Layout editor is now a plugin

To keep the core IDE as small as possible and allow users to install only the features they want, we’re moving many capabilities into optional plugins. (Read our blog post about fractionalization.) This week, we converted the drag-and-drop layout editor into a plugin. Visit appdevforall.org/addons to download the layout editor and other plugins.

Stay tuned as we continue to decrease the core application’s footprint and offer more customization options!

Other fixes

Other bug fixes including the following:

  • ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
  • KaInaccessibleLifetimeOwnerAccessException
  • IllegalStateException (two instances)
  • IndexOutOfBoundsException
  • OutOfMemoryError

Our story

If you’re wondering why we’re building an IDE that runs on phones (including 32-bit devices) and doesn’t require internet access, our one-minute video sums it up.
