New full-screen mode hides or shows menu bar and and bottom sheet with a single tap
In a project, a new full-screen toggle icon is displayed in the lower right corner. Tap the icon to toggle between hiding and displaying the top menu and command bar and the bottom sheet. In landscape and DeX mode, this replaces the green circles.

Better use of screen space in tablets and DeX
The following make Code on the Go easier to navigate for users with access to large screens. On tablets and Samsung devices operating in DeX mode:
- Terminal opens in a side-by-side window that doesn’t cover the primary Code on the Go screen.
- Documentation is displayed in a side-by-side window that doesn’t cover the primary Code on the Go screen.
On a large screen, Terminal opens in a separate window

Other fixes and enhancements
- Tooltips and links to documentation are now available for Kotlin operators and symbols.
- Plugins can now execute shell commands (Gradle tasks, terminal commands, dependency installs) from within the IDE. This eliminates the friction of switching between the IDE and a terminal when plugins need to run build commands. The Code on the Go Plugin Development Guide is updated with this information.
- Throughout the app (in $HOME and in each project directory), the .androidide/ directory is renamed .cg/.
- A NullPointerException in Layout Editor is fixed.
- A bug in which changes to files were saved without user request or assent after changing a system-level setting like font size is resolved.
- Smart boundary detection is added to Sketch to UI to better identify where the drawing canvas ends and the margins begin.
- On 32-bit tablets that don’t support overlay windows, the floating debugger permission is not required to install Code on the Go. Debugger functions are not available on these devices.
- If you’re using a mouse in Samsung DeX mode, hovering over icons no longer acts as a click.
- Users can add custom functions and filters to Pebble templates by placing them in a JAR file in the CGT template archive.
- The documentation now includes a top-level item labeled Bookshelf that provides access to all reference materials from a single page.
