The 26.02 release contains the following changes:
User-requested fixes
Copy and select text in output panels
The Build Output, App Logs, and IDE Logs panels now provide fine-grained control for selecting text. Long-press anywhere in the panel to display text selection handles and a toolbar. You can drag the text selection handles to select a chunk of text, or tap Select all to select everything in the panel. Tap Copy to copy the selected text to the device’s clipboard.
Project commands are located on a new line
All project commands are now located below the name of your project. Depending on the size of your screen, you may need to swipe to display additional commands.
Other new features
- A new plugin template makes it possible to build, test, and package Code on the Go plugins directly within Code on the Go.
- To improve performance and storage efficiency, the SQLite vacuum command now runs automatically when a project is deleted.
- When a project is closed, the tooling API server is now automatically stopped to reduce resource usage.
- The feedback button is reduced in size to free up more screen space,
Bug fixes
When exiting the Layout Editor without saving, line breaks and formatting in the XML file are preserved.
The application no longer crashes after changing the theme.
Changing the system font size while editing a file no longer causes your changes to be lost.
