An updated preview release of Code on the Go is ready for review!

Release 25.51 is our last release in 2025. We will return to a weekly release schedule in 2026.

IMPORTANT: This release contains changes that may cause existing projects to fail. If you’re using an older version of Code on the Go (25.46 or earlier) or you’re unsure of the version, click here and follow the steps to check your version and migrate your projects if needed.

The 25.51 release contains the following changes:

New options for navigating the list of saved projects

You can now:

  • Search the list of saved projects by name. To use, enter text in the Search projects by name field. The list of projects is automatically updated.
  • Sort projects by name, creation date, or revision date. To use, tap the Sort button at the right of the search field. The Sort projects dialog box is displayed, where you can choose your sort criteria and whether the list is sorted in ascending or descending order. Tap Sort to apply your selections.
  • View detailed project information. To the right of a project name, tap the overflow menu and select Info.

Bug fixes

  • The Find in project command now returns search results in the Search Results output panel.
  • Project search is now case-insensitive.
  • Debug information for the current breakpoint is now displayed in the Debugger panel.
  • Additional fixes including:
    • StringIndexOutOfBoundsException
    • NullPointerException
    • WindowManager$BadTokenException
    • FileIO on Main Thread
